TEDDER HILL WIND FARM COMMUNITY FUND

Fund: An initial one-off sum of £100,000, subsequently £5,000 per annum linked to RPI. After administration charges are taken into account the funds available will be £90,000 and £5,236 respectively. The initial sum of £90,000 can only be distributed for the promotion of sustainable development, the promotion of energy efficiency and sustainable transport options.
Area of benefit: The East Riding of Yorkshire Council, with a preference for appropriate schemes or projects within 5 kilometres of Roos Post Office.
Objectives of the fund:
- The promotion of sustainable development, including, (but without limitation) the promotion of energy efficiency measures and sustainable transport options
- The advancement of education
- The advancement of citizenship or community development
- The advancement of environmental protection or improvement
The fund panel can distribute money as:
- Commissioning - where the fund panel devise a public benefit project and employ a group to deliver it
- Donations - where no conditions are placed on the money given to a project
- Grants - where conditions on use are placed on the money given to a project with timescales, milestones and reporting arrangements in place
- Loans - where the money is spent and repaid at a later date
Composition of the awarding panel:
- Two representatives of East Riding of Yorkshire Council
- One representative of Roos Parish Council
- One representative of Rimswell Parish Council
- One representative of East Garton Parish Council
- One representative of Burton Pidsea Parish Council
- One representative of Halsham Parish Council
