The Rooster Association was formally constituted in 2006, thereby establishing a structure more likely to ensure the continuity of the newsletter. A committee was elected to determine overall policy. However, in early 2011, it was suggested that the affairs of the Association be wound up. This suggestion led to renewed public interest and a new committee was elected. During late 2013 and into early 2014 it was announced that members of the committee intended to stand down and invitations for others to come forward to take over proved fruitless. Members at the AGM held in April 2014 resolved that the Association be dissolved within the terms of its constitution. Residual Rooster finances wre transferred to the Parish Council for safe keeping.
In early 2015 steps were taken to establish a new committee and for production of a new Rooster to begin.
